HAVE-A-GO AT DRAGON BOATING OR JUST RIDE IN

A DRAGON BOAT AT PERSHORE PLUM FAYRE DAY

 

On Monday 29th August 2011, its Pershore Plum Fayre Day and throughout the day, Pershore Phoenix Dragon Boat Club will be offering rides on one of their boats. Just come along to the riverside in Pershore and you will find us. Please note that jeans will not be allowed on the boat for safety reasons.

Last year, over 17,000 people turned out to to enjoy a “plum day” out for all the family at Pershore Plum Fayre Day and Farmers Market in 2010. This is Pershore’s biggest event of the year when it celebrates the fruit for which it is internationally famous…

This years’ attractions throughout the town include Plum Alley,  classic and vintage cars, Farmers Market, boat trips, arts and crafts, street and children entertainment, Plum Splash and Play Zone, Abbey tower trips and concerts, trade & charity stalls, Retail Market, High Street shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants open.

Entertainment  including the Chipping Camden Morris Dancers, Morning Dew, Pershore Brass, Little George, Wyred Up, Pershore Town Choir and Steve Kaos are also scheduled.

A Park & Ride service will be available from Pershore High School and Pershore College.
